In a bid to strengthen and strategically build on the existing famous for high standard legacy coupled with the strive to improve on the welfare of students, members of Afrograms’ Old Students family and staff of the school, the newly elected National Executive Council Members of Old Students Association, led by the incumbent National President, Barr. Bola Shittu, Past National Presidents, Alhaji Adeniyi, Dr Babatunde Akinsola, the chairman of Afrocoop, Sir Bola Badmus, a representative of Afrograms Ambassador, Master Hazeem Popoola, among others, recently gathered at Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, to deliberate and critically x- rays issues relating to sustaining the enviable legacy the school is known for and how to maintain the infrastructures in the school.

In his speech, Alhaji Adeniyi, one of the pioneer National Presidents and former game prefect of African Church Grammar School Abeokuta, extolled the NEC members and everyone who decided to leave their comfort zones in the spirit of oneness and selflessness and went through the rigor and risk of traveling from their different abodes to chart a way forward for the famous high-standard project.

The immediate Past National President, Dr Babatunde Akinsola, appealed to every member of the National Executive Council to work together with the incumbent national president in harmony, sincerity, love for their alma mater, and principally contributing to the welfare of the students, staff, and members of the old students association. Dr Akinsola promised his unalloyed loyalty and support for the association and every programme that will contribute meaningfully to the standard of education and growth of students in the school.

In an elated and high-spirited manner, the national president, Barr. Bola Shittu thanked the past presidents, members of the newly elected NEC, and those who have put heads together and resources in place to make the gathering a success. He also commended Engr. Mutiu Adebowale, Hon. Ojo, and members of club 715 for the ongoing laudable roads construction, sacrificially put in place for the use of humanity.
